AL KIRK

Producer

 

Al is a veteran of the music industry as a performing artist, musician, producer and sound recording/mixing engineer.  He worked with some of Motown’s legendary artists including The Temptations, The Dramatics, The Delfonics, Al Hudson and One Way.  He also worked with War and performed live with The Chambers Brothers (Time Has Come Today) for the HBO special Bill Graham Presents A Night at the Fillmore West and The Jerry Lewis Telethon.  He provided SFX and Pyrotechnics for such greats as James Brown, George Clinton and The Funkadelics.  He parlayed his musical excellence into music video production working on a number of Gospel, Hip Hop, Alternative Rock and Reggae projects, serving in multiple roles as producer, director and editor for such videos as Spread Jah Love featuring Ras Michael, and Snow Capped Mountain featuring Ras Michael.  Al went on to provide sound recording for independent feature films for Omni Entertainment and Diamond Tower Films including the independent short film documentaries Bring Back the Harmony starring Charles Wright and Maxine Waters, and Baby Girl All Access starring Shugar Jones, King Kedar and Darren Miller.   A native of Detroit, Al graduated from the University of Detroit with a BA in Music and a minor in Psychology.
